Notarfer's story begins over forty years ago with the work of Luigi Notarangelo, who started out on a small scale as a metal craftsman. From that first workshop, built on manual skill and attention to detail, a structured business gradually took shape: project after project, experience consolidated, the premises expanded and the work grew in complexity, eventually giving form to the company Notarfer is today.
That original calling — technical rigour combined with craft quality — has remained the heart of the company even after decades of growth. Over the years we have consolidated cross-cutting expertise, invested in technology and built a solid reputation among construction companies, industrial clients and energy sector operators.
Today Notarfer is a reference point for heavy steel fabrication and plasma cutting, with operational capabilities covering the whole of Italy and, through registration on the VIES register, the countries of the European Union. Our in-house workshop manages every phase of production — from design to finished product — without subcontractors.
We work to technical drawing, accept DXF and DWG files, and maintain a direct relationship with every client to ensure the result matches expectations exactly.
Every piece is manufactured to the technical drawing. Tolerances checked, dimensions verified, no compromise on quality.
A commitment made is a commitment kept. Delivery dates are respected because we plan production accordingly.
No subcontractors: every stage — from cutting to welding — takes place in our workshop, giving full control and continuity.
You speak with the people who do the work. The owner personally oversees orders and responds directly to clients.
Through VIES registration we are authorised to work with business clients across the European Union VAT-free.
We work only with certified steels with documented origin: Corten and structural steels S235/S275/S355 are our core business.

We operate in full compliance with European and national standards. All certificates are issued by TiQuadrocert, accredited by Accredia (PRD N° 293 B).
This certificate attests that all processes relating to the assessment and verification of constancy of performance comply with all prescribed requirements within system 2+.
Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials — Comprehensive quality requirements. Notarfer's welding quality management system conforms to the standard for steel fabrication structures.
EN 1090 certification guarantees that every structural steel component is produced with quality controls verified by independent third parties.
ISO 3834-2 certification at the comprehensive level attests that our welds meet the most stringent requirements for critical structures.
Our certifications are a mandatory requirement for supplying steel structures in public works, in compliance with CPR 305/2011/EU.
